Next Steps
Here you will find resources that will help you take the next step in your spiritual journey.
Perhaps one of the best investments of your time and energy is to read, watch or study some good bible related content. It’s the same as any endeavour in life, if we want or need to know more about a particular subject then spending time reading, listening, thinking and on occasion studying is essential.
For the most part we will provide you with two ‘next steps’ options and give it a rating.
- We will recommend a resource from time to time on Soul Matters. Often we will stock that particular resource and if you order it we will send it to you.
- We will supply a number of website links that offer excellent resources that we at The Peoples Church can confidently recommend. Please Note: You are very welcome to go directly to a website. However we would love to hear from you as to how you got on.
The levels will be rated 1 – 3.
Level 1 Beginners
Level 2 Intermediate
Level 3 Advanced

A Case For Christ and A Case For Faith - Level 3
Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God? Former atheist and Chicago Tribune journalist Strobel says yes! In this freshly revised and updated bestseller, The Case for Christ, Strobel cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools such as Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis, asking hard-hitting questions—and building a captivating case for Christ's divinity.
The new edition includes scores of revisions and additions, including updated material on archaeological and manuscript discoveries, fresh recommendations for further study, and an interview with the Strobel that tells dramatic stories about the book's impact, provides behind-the-scenes information, and responds to critiques of the book by skeptics.
